For the individual or team who introduced a genuinely new idea, tool, or approach — and made government modernization faster, smarter, or more human as a result.

  • Introduced something new: a process, tool, or approach not previously used on the engagement or at Cardy.
  • Took it from idea to real, working impact — implemented and felt by a client or team, not just proposed.
  • Stayed practical: grounded in what actually works, not innovation for its own sake.

Above & Beyond Award

Empower together • Lead with empathy

For someone who went beyond their formal role — supporting a teammate, a client, or the broader mission in a way nobody asked them to.

  • Stepped outside day-to-day responsibilities to help a colleague, client, or the company succeed.
  • Acted with visible empathy and care, especially under pressure or a tight deadline.
  • Nominated by peers for making other people's work better, not just their own.
